Terms of Service

By accessing the platform, creating an account, claiming a listing or purchasing a plan, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. If you use the platform on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind that company.

• Platform — chinafactorylist.com and related services operated by China Factory List.
• Listing — a factory profile, including registry-imported and owner-claimed content.
• Verified Supplier — a listing whose business licence and ownership have been reviewed and approved by the platform.
• Featured plan — an optional paid visibility subscription that affects ranking and display, always labelled as paid placement.
• Buyer — any user searching, browsing or sending inquiries through the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old and acting for a legitimate business purpose. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

One factory owner account may manage multiple listings only where ownership can be demonstrated for each listing.

Registry-imported records are created from public data and may contain information that is incomplete or out of date. They are clearly marked as unverified, and contact details remain hidden until an owner claims the listing.

• To claim a listing you must submit a business licence and other documents that demonstrate authority over the company.
• You warrant that documents you submit are authentic, current and belong to the company named on the listing.
• Verification confirms identity and licence details at the time of review. It is not an audit of product quality, financial standing or export performance.
• We may reject, suspend or remove a listing, badge or claim where documents cannot be verified or where the listing misrepresents the business.
• Buyers must perform their own due diligence before placing orders. Verification is a starting point, not a guarantee.

• Featured plans are optional subscriptions: 30-day, 90-day or 365-day terms. Prices and inclusions are shown at checkout.
• Paid placement affects ranking and presentation only. It never changes the verification status of a listing.
• Payment is due in advance. Plans renew only when you choose to renew — we do not auto-charge expired plans without confirmation.
• Because visibility benefits begin immediately, fees are non-refundable once a plan is activated, except where required by law or where the platform fails to deliver the purchased placement.
• Billing disputes must be raised within 30 days of the invoice date through the contact form.

You must not:

• Impersonate a factory, submit forged licences or claim listings you do not own.
• Scrape, harvest or resell contact data from the platform.
• Send spam, unsolicited bulk inquiries or misleading quotations.
• Publish unlawful, infringing, defamatory or unsafe content or products.
• Interfere with platform security, availability or other users’ access.
• Use the directory to advertise goods you do not manufacture without disclosing your role as a trader.

The platform, its design, database structure, copy and software are owned by China Factory List or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from platform content except for normal browsing, or for using your own listing content for your business.

You retain ownership of the photos, descriptions and documents you upload. By publishing content on the platform you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, translate, resize and promote that content for operating and marketing the directory. You confirm you have the rights to publish the content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.

We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law, but we are not obliged to monitor every listing.

Listings may link to supplier websites, maps or messaging accounts. Those services are not controlled by us. Inquiries are delivered to suppliers, who respond directly; we do not negotiate, guarantee a reply, or participate in any resulting contract.

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that listings are complete, current or error-free, or that a supplier will meet any quality, capacity or delivery commitment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, China Factory List is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, orders, data or goodwill arising from use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or CNY 1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify China Factory List against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms, your listing content, your products or your dealings with buyers, including claims that your content infringes third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate access, remove listings or cancel plans where these terms are breached, where verification fails, or where continued publication creates legal or fraud risk. Where a plan is cancelled for our convenience, unused paid time is refunded pro rata. You may close your account at any time from the member dashboard or by contacting support.

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation; unresolved disputes may be brought before the competent courts of Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Nothing prevents consumers from relying on mandatory protections in their country of residence.

We may update these terms as the platform develops. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where required, by email before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
